After many years when my first inclination when getting out and about was to head for the hills, I’ve discovered the delights of coastal walking. It’s often more accessible, so suitable for shorter days, with an immense variety of different scenery.

Aberdeenshire has a fabulous North-Sea coastline, peppered with what were fishing villages, with a mixture of beach and cliff scenery. The images below capture some of my impressions of this coastline.
