Privacy Policy

  1. Scope. This policy applies to all blogs and sites under the domain name
  2. Personal data. I do not explicitly collect or store any personal information about users to these sites.
  3. Comments. When visitors leave comments on the site I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
  4. Comments. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
  5. Comments. If you leave a comment on a site here you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
  6. Your data. You may request a copy of all of the data and associated metadata that you have supplied as comments by sending an email to the site administrator.
  7. Cookies. None of the sites in the domain explicitly set cookies in your browser.
  8. Analytics. I use Google Analytics to collect data and this may collect some information about you. Your IP number should be anonymized. As far as I am aware, Google Analytics provides you with the ability to opt-out of information collection.
  9. Emails. Unless you have asked to receive emails to indicate when comments have been made/read, you should never receive any emails from this site. If you do, they are spam and should be ignored.
