The TGO Challenge is an annual event, held in May, where people walk from the west coast to the east coast of Scotland. This doesn’t mean everyone follows the same route - everyone is responsible for planning their own route. There are several possible starting points from Ardrishaig in the south to Torridon in the north.
The key characteristic of the Challenge is not the walking but the people involved. It is renowned for its friendliness and sociability so that it’s sometimes best described as a series of social occasions with a bit of walking in between.
